Who I Am

My “reprogramming” started back in 1996 when I decided to work for myself. I went through quite a bit of training, I was a P.A. (still love organising people/events!) and left work to work from home when my daughter started first school aged five.

  1. Adult Education 7407 (I am qualified to teach adults)
  2. Training the trainers (I became a qualifed trainer because teaching stifles creativity)
  3. Life Coaching (I love helping people to come up with their own answers)
  4. Neuro Linguistic Programming – Practitioner and Master Practitioner – I needed to reprogram myself even more! In the process I learned how to help other people overcome their limits
  5. NLP Life Coaching

My name is Diane Corriette and I am a mother of 3 gorgeous children. A trained life coach I turned to the internet in 2005 as a source for passive income and online community development.  I have spent my time between then and now – October 2005 – August 2009 – making friends around the world, speaking to people around the world and working with clients around the world.

Diane CorrietteYou can of course Google my name – always the best way to learn about someone’s reputation online. :)

I like to be informal rather than business like, consider myself a creative soul so I look at how I can do things differently and I work towards supporting women mainly but not exclusively.

I have this wonderful system that I want to share with people that have a passion for something. So life coaches, creatives (singers, actors, painters, writers etc), speakers, enterpreurs who want to start an online business either attracting local clients to their offline business or to build a worldwide empire!

My simple system uses powerful tools

A blog, a membership site, selling your expertise using information products, and promoting it all using audio/video

It works well. Blogs, membership sites and video are HOT on the internet right now!

Coaching/Mentoring

I provide private one to one mentoring/coaching for clients. I help clients do something that they thought was difficult to achieve and impossible to figure out. I got them online, sharing their passion and reaching out to their target market.

Freelance Consultant

I still exchange my time for money when I am offered something I will enjoy

I have run teleseminars on behalf of clients, interviewed people so they can include the interview on their blog/site, and helped them manage their online business and/or projects

Right now I am working as Membership Manager for Blog Success – a membership site designed to support anyone looking to be a professional blogger that was founded by Jack Humphrey, Peter Lenkefi and Brandon Hall.

A Sample List Of  A Few Past Clients

Below are a few people I have worked with – I will try to add a variety of different clients but since 2008 my focus has been mainly on blogs!

Dogs and Cats

http://www.dogsandcats.com.au/

Supporting Randa start her website was one of the best things about doing what I do. I love it when someone has a vision to make something happen and it does. The site is an Australian focused on providing information on care for pet dogs and cats. My role was to support to get it up and started (I didnt design the site!)

http://www.interalialegal.com interalialegal

Interalialegal is a blog run by UK Lawyer Darren Sylvester LLB Hons
Set up in 2008 the aim of the blog is to share UK law related news and information with students studying to become lawyers. The blog offers a blog subscription box which allows people to receive the latest blog post directly in their email account and he also promotes a few of his ebooks for sale.

Darren has outsourced the creation of his podcasts and runs a fairly regular audio podcast series for his readers/listeners. His work obviously keeps him very busy but despite that Darren finds time to add content to his blog as often as he possibly can. His long term strategy is to run a membership site for UK Law students and develop a passive income from that plus other his mentoring services.

http://www.8steps.biz/Building a social network to develop an online audience
David Shephard is an international speaker and well established business owner who was looking to build an online social network using Ning.

He booked 10 hours of our time and he used our services to develop the look of the site to fit in with his book and brand and to add content to it but did not book any more time to get help with bringing in new members.
His aim is to support small business owners with 5 or more employees through his book (which he provides a free digital copy to download) and by providing exclusive access to his audio newsletters, Webinars, blog, and live seminars.

http://www.goodnewschurch.net How churches use web 2.0

Good News Ministries International is a Pentecostal church based in Harrow West London. The church wanted a site with a professional look and feel that was easy to maintain so I set them up with a blog and used a Wordpress church theme.

The blog started and is already on the front page of the search engines for “Pentecostal church, Harrow” which is a major keyword because they will be looking at building their congregation based on people looking for a Pentecostal church in their local area. Right now the site is not adding enough content to build its audience on a wider scale and does not offer a way for people to subscribe. It can also begin to sell products as a way to raising funds but has not committed to doing that either. What they are using the blog for is to publicise their events and to raise funds for a new church building that they want to buy and promote the blog using their current congregation and the connections they have around the world.

I set this Facebook fan page up to promote UK Jazz musician Cameron Pierre after becoming a fan since attending one of his concerts back in 2008. I started the fan page in June 2009 as a way to promote the work that Cameron does and return every now and then to continue to invite people to become a fanUsing facebook fan pages

This is something I do because I love his music but I added it here because even though this isn’t paid work it is still a great example of how you can use social media to promote and highlight what you do. The page is updated whenever I find out about an event that Cameron is playing at.

There really isn’t much more you can do with fan pages but you do have the ability to email everyone who is a fan so that is another opportunity to build a list of supporters you can stay in touch with.

Ultimately the best thing that Cameron could do would be to have his own self hosted Wordpress blog on which he could add all his past events and upcoming ones – right now he uses Myspace as most musicians do and while all these sites offer instant access to a huge audience because of the number of visitors that visit the site – it is still worth having your own blog or network that you can attract people into.
